This Twisted World

Text Box: Did you happen to see the Christian young woman who was chosen as the first runner-up to Miss USA 2009 being asked by an openly homosexual judge whether she believed every state should follow Vermont in legalizing gay marriage?

Her answer was:

"We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage, and you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that, I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

Many seem to suggest, including her, that this answer might have cost her the crown. On the other hand, she also said to a media outlet that the controversy happened for a reason, as she explained:

"By having to answer that question in front of a national audience, God was testing my character and faith," she said. "I'm glad I stayed true to myself."

Now, she is being openly chastised in the media by those who oppose her Christian views and values, even to point that some are demanding an apology from her remarks.

Then, the other day we watched a debate on television with the subject: “Does Satan Exist?” The panel on stage consisted of a true-to-Gods-Word pastor and a lady preacher who used to be a prostitute at one side, and at the other side of the panel there was a man from the New Thought Movement, which, among other things, deals with mystical and Eastern “New Age” philosophies. This man said that believing in Jesus and the existence of Satan is a cover up for one’s insecurities. The other person next to him was a well known bishop who, at one time, used to be a Pentecostal minister, but for some years now have been preaching the so-called “Gospel of Inclusion.” The Gospel of Inclusion teaches that everybody will go to Heaven, as well as it is denying the existence of Satan, Hell, sin, and Jesus, whom he did not acknowledge as the one who came to destroy the works of Evil. He also denied the notion that God can get angry, and expressed doubt about the validity of the Bible, saying that it is written by man to God instead from God to man.

Let me give you seven passages in the Bible that undeniably contradict what this preacher of the “Inclusion Gospel” teaches, as he states that Satan or the Devil is a myth and therefore Hell doesn’t exist either, and that Jesus is not the Savior, that God cannot get angry, and that the Bible is written by man to God and not coming from God to man:

About the existence of the Devil
But when people keep on sinning, it shows they belong to the Devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the Devil. 1 John 3:8 NLT

About the existence of Hell
But I'll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill people and then throw them into hell. Luke 12:5 NLT

About acknowledging Jesus
If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here.
1. John 4:3 NLT

About salvation in Jesus only
For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, 'The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.'
There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them." Acts 4:11-12 NLT

About the fact that God can get angry
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. Romans 1:18-20 NLT

About the Bible being the inspired Word of God
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselves or because they wanted to prophesy. It was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God. 2. Peter 1:20-21 NLT

About adding and removing from the Bible
And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words of this prophetic book, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book. Revelations 22:18-19 NLT

The following scripture applies to this bishop, who once was preaching the true Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ but now deviated to deceptive teachings:

And when people escape from the wicked ways of the world by learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up with sin and become its slave again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the right way to live than to know it and then reject the holy commandments that were given to them. 2. Peter 2:19-21 NLT

If people suppress God’s truth in order to live their own way, they have no excuse. They know the truth, and they will ultimately have to endure the consequences of ignoring it.

See how the Bible accurately describes today’s mindset people are living in:

Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.
That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.
When they refused to acknowledge God, He abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
Romans 1:25-32 NLT

And when you tell them that this ungodly way of living without Jesus Christ will lead them to hell, they often tell you that you are condemning and judging them, and being intolerant. The reason they are saying all this, is because they are already feeling condemned for rejecting Jesus Christ.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. John 3:18-21 NKJV

Remember, when you witness salvation through Jesus Christ to the unbeliever, you cannot take it personal when there are those who reject you and your message.

To put it in Jesus’ own words;

They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away from the light for fear their sins will be exposed and they will be punished. But those who do what is right come to the light gladly, so everyone can see that they are doing what God wants. John 3:20-21 NLT
